The sessions are based on the ancient Hatha Yoga* system, which includes traditional yogic poses (asana), breath exercises (pranayama), techniques such as internal locks (bandhas) & gazing points (dristhi), and relaxation (shavasana).
They are designed to accomodate your level of practice, while keeping in consideration injuries, conditions and personal needs.
The goal of Hatha Yoga is physical, mental and emotional wellness, while preparing you for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
*Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles.

The benefits of Meditation are endless. Meditation reduces stress, enhances energy, strength and vigor; it creates a state of deep relaxation and general feeling of wellbeing, while increasing concentration and strengthening focus and concentration. It increases serotonin which influences moods and behavior, reduces anxiety, and fears. It guides us toward the discovery of life's meaning and purpose.
Best of all, meditation has NO negative side effects. There is nothing but positive to be gained from it.
It is important to emphasize that all the above benefits are side effects: Meditation is the practice that takes us to a higher state of awareness and consciousness.
